In 1979, Jiffy Lube established the first drive-through service bay, followed by windshield cling that reminds drives when it's time for their next Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change. Today, we're incorporating advance technology that shares customer history across all Jiffy Lube stores so we can better serve our customers wherever life takes them.

Training and Support

Jiffy Lube University has the only certified Automotive Service Education (ASE) training program in the quick lube industry. Our extensive curriculum is built on three principles: integrity, excellence and innovation. We utilize the latest in adult learning concepts and methods to make the blended learning experience rich and enjoyable. Our training covers topics ranging from safety, protection of the environment, product knowledge, customer service, store positions, preventive maintenance, and management training.

Jiffy Lube University allows our franchisees to provide continuing education for employees who are interested in personal and professional development and career advancement. Our training for new franchisees is a combination of computer based training and in-store training. In-store training is 10 days and takes place at one of our 3 regional training stores (Chicago, Boston, Sacramento). In addition, we strongly recommend that new Franchisees take our 4 day Advanced Management Class. This class is scheduled monthly in cities across all 3 regions (East, Central, West). The cost of the Advanced Management class is $265 per attendee. The operations training class cost is included in the Franchise fee.
