by private salons and other chains. NOT a "me too" concept - lots of unique selling
points. Big-screen TV's, first-class "locker room" look and feel. Retail sale of
hair care products and sports memorabilia.Sport Clips answers a basic (unanswered)
need of men and boys who have been forced to go to salons or "family haircutters."
Great atmosphere, solid operating systems (including a comprehensive POS computer
system), proprietary haircutting system that delivers consistent quality by highly
productive Stylists. Emphasis on men and boys simplifies training programs, widens
the range of Stylists (or barbers) we can hire since they do not have to know perms
and colors or ladies' hairstyling.Retail stores: "Power Centers" with co-tenants
such as Best Buy or Home Depot; grocery anchored centers; some unanchored strips.
Preferred size 1,200 - 1,500 square feet. Our very sharp, high profile stores with
an entertainment flair appeals to real estate developers. We are able to get into
established centers with existing salons due to our tightly targeted marketing program
for men and boys.
Franchise Training and Support
Five days in Georgetown, Texas. Five additional days in store training for the franchisee
and the manager. All Team Members go through Training Camp when hired. Quarterly
Leadership Training sessions are provided for Franchisees and Managers. We have
very thoroughly documented all aspects of Sport Clips operations in our extensive
(and usable) set of Manuals, which are covered in detail in our Franchisee Training
Program. *Additional training required for Area Developers.No prior hair experience
is required. To date, none of our Franchisees have had hair industry backgrounds.
"People persons" are ideal Franchisees. Prior retail experience is helpful, but
not necessary. Investor owner opportunity. Key role for Franchisee is to develop
and support the Manager and to keep the Team motivated and excited about delivering
our famous "Championship Quality Service", Franchisee is responsible for following
up on training programs, ensuring that our FivePoint Play operating system is properly
executed, and implementing our extensive local store marketing programs. *To Veterans,
we offer a discounted franchise fee of $42,000 for three licenses.
