Business Consulting As A Profession Tops List of Hot Business Trends in 2007

Southbury, CT - March 29, 2007 - As businesses turn more and more to outside consultants for expertise, this increase in demand has put the profession of "business consulting" on the top list of hot franchise trends for 2007, according to Entrepreneur Magazine. This increased demand for business consulting has created an opportunity for the corporate-trained individual to parlay their business experience into an entrepreneurial venture like business coaching.

"The market is ripe for business-savvy people to apply their experience to business ownership," says NAME, of Business Advisers International (BAI) a business advisory and coaching firm. "Small-to-medium size businesses are recognizing the need to partner with a business coach who can help define the solutions to their challenges, but also hold them accountable for working on the business."

Career and business coaching is a new emerging paradigm combining the expertise of advisors with the efficiency of a coaching team providing solutions. The business-to-business (B2B) coaching and consulting industry is a multi-billion dollar market. According to a Business Industry Consulting report dated November 2006, BAI, along with it sister company The Entrepreneur's Source (TES), dominates the market with a 33% share.

"This success is based on our AdviCoach® system, an action-oriented supportive and educational process enabling clients to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to go," says NAME, of BAI. "According to a Right Management Consultants survey, about 47% of organizations surveyed see coaching as essential to their decision-making," she added.

The number of business coaching and consulting services has nearly doubled in recent years according to Entrepreneur Magazine. This, in part, can be tied to demographics and the increase in women and younger workers looking to go into business for themselves.
